Advancing Remote Surgical Collaboration

with Greater Control and Flexibility

As part of Twin Beans’ ongoing commitment to enabling smart operating rooms, the MEDIMEET Remote Surgical Collaboration System has entered a new phase of enhancement—designed to better support both clinical practice and operating room management.

Building upon its widely recognized real-time, two-way communication capabilities—including live image sharing, voice communication, and whiteboard annotation—this upgrade introduces enhanced host control functions for surgical meetings. Hosts can now manage participant audio and video, remove participants when needed, and control meeting views. In addition, hosts can remotely operate PTZ cameras in the operating room, adjusting camera angles and zoom levels to ensure optimal visualization during remote guidance and discussion.

To further strengthen system management and information security, MEDIMEET now supports a unified login mechanism across the entire MEDI product family. This single sign-on approach simplifies personalized settings while improving consistency in hospital accounts and cybersecurity management.

Recognizing the need for flexibility across different use cases, MEDIMEET now also supports guest access, making it suitable for medical conferences, international academic exchanges, and surgical teaching demonstrations. The enhanced meeting list allows users to quickly rejoin previously accessed operating rooms or meeting spaces, with recent meeting records and IDs readily available. Clear visibility of active operating rooms and meeting statuses enables surgeons, department leaders, and hospital administrators to stay informed of collaboration activities at all times.

The MEDIMEET interface also supports multiple languages and flexible layouts, allowing seamless adoption across domestic and international clinical environments.

With this upgrade, MEDIMEET continues to elevate remote surgical guidance—delivering greater precision for clinicians and improved oversight for hospitals—while reinforcing a secure and scalable framework for collaborative surgery.
